Claire is a seasoned nonprofit and philanthropic professional with a track record of building capacity with communities impacted by the War on Terror, structural Islamophobia, and human rights abuses.

Claire is a community builder, connector, educator, advocate, and conflict resolver whose work centers empathy, healing, and creativity.  Claire currently runs a consulting practice, The Moonlight Collaborative, through which she advises and partners with nonprofits and funders to achieve their goals in racial equity, evaluation, program strategy, risk management, fundraising, and more.

Prior to founding The Moonlight Collaborative, Claire worked in racial equity consulting (Frontline Solutions), in philanthropy with BAMEMSA communities (with the RISE Together Fund and RISE Together Action Fund), and supported nonprofits building organizational capacity (Namati, and more). Claire is a former Young Professionals in Foreign Policy Human Rights Fellow, and a current PhD candidate in conflict analysis and resolution (ABD). Her dissertation work examines the deleterious impacts of counterterrorism programming at the local/community level.

Claire is a nature enthusiast, amateur chef, and aspiring plant person.
