Jaxson Banks is an emerging leader at the intersection of sports, social impact, and community-based environmental work, blending a deep commitment to equity, youth development, and trust-building across diverse spaces. Born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Jaxson brings a grounded perspective shaped by both local engagement and global exploration.

A graduate of Centre College, Jaxson studied environmental studies  while contributing to advocacy and research initiatives focused on climate resilience, social/anthropological frameworks, and youth support. His academic and extracurricular work reflect a strong belief in relational, long-term change—from modeling watershed dynamics in Kentucky to supporting safe, healing-centered spaces for young people. He is now pursuing a Master’s degree at Rome City Institute, where he will continue growing as both a scholar and athlete while playing basketball at the graduate level.

Jaxson’s perspective has been enriched by a transformative study abroad experience in the Azores, Portugal, where he explored themes of global citizenship, ecological stewardship, and cross-cultural trust. Whether building collaborative environmental models or facilitating youth-focused advocacy efforts, Jaxson centers values of connection, accountability, and purpose.

Through sport, education, and community work, Jaxson is committed to creating systems that reflect the needs and voices of those they serve. He brings curiosity, care, and courage to every space—reimagining what leadership looks like across borders and disciplines.
